We have assessed the ways in which we depend on our suppliers and we have not found any dependencies that will prevent us from continuing to trade successfully after 31st December 1999. However, we are not in a position to control the Year 2000 compliance of our suppliers and cannot account for any deficiencies which may arise as a result of non-compliance within any supplier product or system.

Y2K Statements of Compliance from third-party suppliers:

Sage accounting and payroll software Sagesoft Limited Year 2000 Statement. 28th September 1998 "Sage is committed to providing a product range that is Year 2000 compliant. All current releases of Sage accounting and payroll software are Year 2000-compliant to the DISC PD2000-1 standard as defined by the British Standards Institution."

Microsoft Office 97. Windows ’95 Microsoft Year 2000 Compliance Statement "A Year 2000 Compliant product from Microsoft will not produce errors processing date data in connection with the year change from December 31, 1999 to January 1, 2000 when used with accurate date data in accordance with its documentation and the recommendations and exceptions set forth in the Microsoft Year 2000 Product Guide, provided all other products (e.g., other software, firmware and hardware) used with it properly exchange date data with the Microsoft product. A Year 2000 Compliant product from Microsoft will recognize the Year 2000 as a leap year."

Microsoft Office 98 for Macintosh Year 2000: Microsoft's statement of compliance "Microsoft Office 98 for Macintosh will not produce errors processing date data in connection with the year change from Dec. 31, 1999 to Jan. 1, 2000. Office 98 also recognizes the Year 2000 as a leap year."

Acer Pentium Laptop Acer Year 2000 Resource Center "Acer has paid special attention to the Year 2000 issue and has designed and implemented solutions that will allow our products to handle the Year 2000 transition correctly. All models of Acer computer hardware using an Acer BIOS developed after January 1, 1996 are Year 2000 compliant."

Gateway 2000 Pentium systems Gateway's Support for the Year 2000 "Gateway™ hardware running an operating system provided by Gateway will properly handle date processing and will produce expected results before, during, and after the calendar year 2000 AD."

Apple Macintosh MacOS 8 Apple and the Year 2000. "Macintosh users can party like it’s 1999 until at least 29,940. The Macintosh and Mac OS have had the ability to properly handle dates past 1999 since the introduction of the Macintosh computer. Any Mac OS application that makes correct use of the Mac OS Toolbox for clock functions will not have a problem transitioning to the year 2000."
